pizza

Tommorow at luch our grade is getting pizza. I decided not to be part of it. Pizza is not very good. It is high in fat and i am on a diet. Connor will sure be brempin when he sees me with my peanut butter sandwhich. i might have a Ralph for dessert. Meanwhile everybody that eats the pizza will be sick and miserable for the rest of day. Pizza is not a good food. I wouldn't have eaten that pizza if i was paid 1,000 dallars. It would undo 3 months of dieting. dont want to get to overweight.

going up town

Today we went up town. me rhett and connor headed up town in the pouring rain. we saw a guy with a garbage bag over his head sneaking into smiths yard. we ran for it. when we got to carters me and rhett got icebergs. Connor was going to get an iceberg but they were out of medium cups. Connor went and asked for some cups. they showed the kid where they were kept and he got an iceberg aswell. Rhett bought a pack of gum too. On our way back to school we saw Kolten Eric Nicholas Kowalchuck walking towards Carters. When we got to the school we saw shpenny's truck. it was running really weird. we laughed.

grain bins

I would have flat bottom bins. hopper bins would be more handy but they are to expensive. it is not worth it to spend an extra 4,000 dollars just to get a hopper. It is not so bad shoveling out bins when you only have to do it once a year. If you dont want to shovel just get a drag auger. The only way i would get a hopper bin is for a feed bin or if it was cheap. Plywood grain bins are not to bad. if they are kept painted they should last for about 30 years. The trouble with them is that the roofs will start to leak after a while. I would get stell bins with a flat cement floor.

self propelled or pull type combine?

I think that self propeled combines are better than pull types. With the self propeled you dont neesd to worry about something going wrong on your tractor. with a pull type there is more chance of something wrecking because you are using a combine and a tractor. we have a self propeled combine and a pull type. it seems like the pull type is breaking down more often than the self propelled. The self propelled is a MF 750, and the pull type is an MF 851. we have 2 parts combines for the self propelled. They are older combines but they get the job done properly. they only cost about 15,00-2,000 dollars.

seeding

This year we have had a lot of trouble seeding. We kept on getting stuck because the feilds are to muddy. we hooked up a chain to the back of another tractor and with this brew we mostly avoided getting stuck. sometimes you have to seed around the low spots to keep from getting stuck. when you do get stuck you have to unhook the tractor from the discers and hook a chain up somewhere along the discer and drag it out. we should get finished seeding today. we only have 60 acres left. we will probably have to do all of our summerfallowing with the discers instead of the cultivator to get a proper weed kill. we finished seeding wheat last night and started on barely this morning. Some of the feilds have big lakes in them and part of the feild has to be left unseeded.
